Please pray with us for the next few days as we decide on buying this land to build the Oikos School.
Thank you so much for praying for this piece of land, but ultimately it turned out not to be the right place for us. It was incredibly beautiful and a great price, but we felt very uneasy about it. After Andrew and I prayed for a clear answer from the Lord, He immediately directed us to a random stranger who told us that the whole area has been in dispute by two tribes for a long time. We went to the regional chief’s house and confirmed this and got advice from him to stay far away from this land. Still searching… keep praying…
This is the next piece of land we are considering for the Oikos School. So far it meets all our criteria so we are pursuing it cautiously. Please understand that buying land here is not a straightforward process as it would be in the States. It is complex, confusing, and you seem to discover new things as you move forward, so please continue to pray for wisdom, guidance, and clarity. Thank you!
